EVERYDAY MISSIONARY: Living As Witnesses of Jesus
Our new 10-week teaching series, Everyday Missionary, begins April 27. Rooted in Acts 1:8 and drawn from key moments in the book of Acts, this journey is designed to help our network of house churches embrace a Spirit-empowered lifestyle of mission. This is not a verse-by-verse study, but a mission-focused exploration of how the early church lived and spread the gospel—through prayer, persecution, hospitality, multiplication, and more. Each week will include a Sunday teaching from Scripture and a simple micro-challenge—a small, practical step to help each of us live out the mission in real time. These aren’t meant to be overwhelming, but to cultivate a rhythm of daily obedience and intentionality. We want to grow not only in knowledge, but in practice— becoming people of compassion and boldness who carry the gospel into everyday spaces.

Let’s commit to growing as Everyday Missionaries and see how the Lord empowers us to be his witnesses! Here are a few challenges as we start this series:
- Read the entire book of Acts looking for ways that the early church served as witnesses of Jesus. It will take you about 2.5 hours but you can do it over the course of a few days.
- Think of two people in your life that are not followers of Jesus. Commit to pray for them daily over the next ten weeks. Look for ways to BLESS them and share your testimony with them.
- Join or start a Triad using our quick start guide in the app. This is a great place to get help and accountability on living as a missionary and other aspects of discipleship as well.
- Plan to share a testimony at your MC about how God has used you as a witness for Jesus.
